There are eighteen established laboratories with Department of Mechanical Engineering, JPIET Meerut. Each of these laboratories is equipped with state of the art models, apparatuses, machines and equipments. Apart from the laboratories, department also possesses a central workshop which comprises of Machine Shop, Carpentry Shop, Black Smithy Shop, Sheet Metal Shop, Plumbing Shop, Fastening Shop, Painting Shop, Fitting Shop and Welding Shop. Further, in the laboratories, students are guided by experienced faculty in charge and assisted by well trained technical staff. By and large, all laboratories suffice to even more experiments as against the UPTU curriculum requirement.
