It has been decided, that a Departmental Library is to be established within the Department building (C-Block). Purpose of this dedicated library would be: to give students proximity to a library so that they wouldn’t have to move all the way to Central Library; and to provide specialized research oriented book material to the concerned. Note that this ‘Departmental Library’ facility will be of supplementary nature only as any particular book would be issued only for one week’s time.
