Late Smt Krishna Agarwal W/o Sh. Jai Prakash Agarwal (Chairman JP Educational Trust) was a prominent philanthropist of Western UP. Her love of humanity and human cause drove her taking up social causes and helping the down trodden in the society. She was of firm conviction that the only way to improve the economic well being of masses was through education. Quality education can usher in an era of comprehensive development of all citizens of India.

Hence she started her journey in Education field by laying the foundation of a school, known as JP Academy; having classes from Nursery to class XII, and is the leading school of UP. Her for-sight then gave shape to professional colleges so that the youth can seek self satisfying jobs. Thus came up JP Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, JP Institute of B.Ed. and JP Institute of applied sciences. The field of her vision was not restricted to Meerut, it saw a school, JP International School in Greater NOIDA too. In tune with her thinking and vision is the creation of JP Institute of Engineering and Technology.
